Wöhrle engages in the campaign „Mitmachen Ehrensache“.

„Mitmachen – Ehrensache“ – working for a good cause! On international Volunteers‘ Day young people work for employers of their choise and donate the money to regional charitable causes. These can be any youth work projects or other non-profit purposes selected by the young people themselves.

Wöhrle supports the campaign "Mitmachen Ehrensache" and is providing several jobs for the young people at its Wildberg and Krautheim locations.

Wildberg location: Berufswahlkompass Metall

The Berufswahlkompass Metall (metal career choice compass) project is directed towards students in the 8th / 9th grades in secondary schools, and is run in close collaboration with metal processing companies. Through project work and learning about the companies’ working practices, the project helps students prepare to choose a career, and helps make commercial and technical careers more appealing.

As a cooperating company, Wöhrle takes an active role in supporting young people as they choose their careers.
